In March, on two separate days, we had PPS members visit Oaks Bottom Forge in Southeast Portland.  It is a co-op forge where about 15 blacksmiths make a variety of knives and tools.  They also teach classes to help people get started smithing and leathercrafting.  They also sell their knives and other products.  Everyone we met was excellent and we had a great time – we highly recommend checking out Oaks Bottom Forge.  Their website is: http://www.oaksbottomforge.com
