Image Theme: "Portraits" - A portrait should not show just the physical side of the subject but should try to capture the essence of who the person is. Show us more about the person, not just how he or she looks. At Projected Image Night, members view and discuss digital images projected on a screen. Members submit images in advance by email. Both images matching the monthly theme (see above) and other out-of-theme images can be shown. Please see this page for details on Projected Image Night.
Join us for our traditional Holiday Potluck. Please bring a print wrapped as a gift. Each person who brings a print, goes home with a print. We put names in a hat and the first person drawn gets first pick of prints, and so on. Please bring a dish to share (either homemade or purchased is fine) and a beverage for yourself. We recommend bringing your own dishes, as the availability of paper plates and cups may be limited.

They can be made by a digital camera or from film, printed digitally or in the darkroom, and are mounted to a firm, lightweight backing such as posterboard.
