Old Town/Chinatown Photo Scavenger Hunt with Motoya Nakamura

Join celebrated local photographer Motoya Nakamura for an exciting family-friendly workshop at the Oregon Nikkei Legacy Center. Learn more about his current exhibit “Sakura Sakura” and hear some cool stories about how Motoya captured such beautiful photographs of the cherry trees just blocks away from our museum along the Willamette River. With Motoya as your guide, and “Sakura Sakura” as your inspiration, families attending will be provided disposable cameras and sent on a photo-taking scavenger hunt through the neighboring streets of Old Town/Chinatown! Students from Portland Community College and members of the Portland Photographic Society will also be on hand taking part in the fun!
