How to preserve your pictures for generations

This workshop will teach you how to produce fantastic photo books and albums using your digital images and free software on the Internet.  The books are produced on your own computer and at you own pace, with no Internet connection required until you finish it.  Books can be any number of pages and are available in a variety of paper qualities and sizes up to 11” x 14”.  Books are also available in hard cover (with embossed images or dust jacket), soft cover or even booklet forms.  We will use software from Blurb (blurb.com), called BookSmart.   This is the most versatile software and presents the very best value and quality available at reasonable costs.  Your completed book will be delivered to you within 10 days after submission.

This workshop will take you through the systemic production of a book and also provide assistance to you while you create your own masterpiece.  We will get you started on the learning curve and help you make significant progress right from the start.  Handouts will be provided to assist you and remind you of some of the features in BookSmart.

Photo books are the most economical way to preserve, collect and show you digital pictures.     Your photo books also make great family gifts and memories of life’s special occasions or just preserving you own images.   Several examples will be presented that were created for special occasions along with a book produced for a community organization that sold over 50 copies.
